Just as the seventh day of creation was sanctified and made holy, so too will the seventh millennium be a time of holiness and rest for the righteous.
The seventh millennium will be a time of peace and renewal, as it is written: ‘And on the seventh day, God rested and was refreshed’ (Exodus 31:17). So, too, the world will rest in the seventh millennium.
The world was created with the letters of the Torah. Its times and seasons are fixed, and the end of days is engraved upon the tablets of heaven. Yet, repentance can overturn even decrees written in the stars.
The Messiah will come in a generation that either fully keeps the covenant or completely breaks it. In either case, God will act for the sake of His name.
The world to come will be entirely Sabbath, a day without end, reflecting the eternal nature of the seventh millennium.
The time of redemption will come suddenly, as it is written: ‘The Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple’ (Malachi 3:1).
