Three Days and Three Nights: The Chronology of Yeshua’s Death

Establishing the Historical and Halakhic Case for a Wednesday Crucifixion and the 72-Hour Period.
The timing of Yeshua’s death and resurrection stands as one of the most debated issues in biblical scholarship. Yet when examined through the lens of Second Temple Jewish calendrical practice, halakhic law, and careful Gospel harmonization, a coherent and historically defensible chronology emerges:

We Enter the Final Jubilee Period

Having to rewrite this days in advance of the start of the Final Jubilee period every time something changes, I expected it to pass without notice. Nothing dramatic yet, knowing almost everyone will not even know it has begun like a small highway exit sign that says “last exit for 50 miles”. Many might not know they are in for a ride let alone know why. So far though these last few weeks, that has not been the case. Iran is just the start of the events to come.

The Biblical Recipe

We all know when you bake a cake that it is important to understand and plan your ingredients in advance. That, small changes to the ratios, quality, and order don’t just make additive differences but can make outsized multiplicative differences in the end product that can make the cake inedible. The Bible is in many ways the same and we have a big problem before we even get to organizing the ingredients.

The Lies of the Church

Yes, sadly, there are lies, some born of ignorance, some from self-interest, and others from expedience. The organized church is made up of humans who sin and carry biases, falsehoods, frauds, and even cultish ideas. Left unchecked, these can metastasize through the larger body over time. They must be called out, but with love and patience.

The One Thing I Know

There is so much in the collections of the Tanakh and New Covenant that are not quite clear but hazy. Details that you have just enough information to have a rough outline but not enough to anticipate clearly. The Rapture is extremely vague, The Tribulation no where near as locked as conventional wisdom would have you believe. Even the Ages of God which has more evidence than the two previous topics has its amorphous soft edges. In all my years and research I have been able to see the arguments on both sides of many topics so clearly that it can be frustrating; all but one.

Bible Algebra as Seen Thru the Rapture

At times the collected books of the Bible are written plainly, but people interpret them metaphorically or allegorically. Other times, they’re written allegorically, and people take them literally—or miss the meaning altogether. And some parts are algebraic: like equations that don’t fully make sense until the final variable is added or unveiled—often by God Himself. It’s important to understand the difference and know how to approach each.

Explain it to me like I’m five.

Years ago I knew a wealthy executive that would always ask an important decision option to be explained to him like he was five.

Some people thought it was a test, if you couldn’t boil it down you really didn’t have a grasp of what you were talking about.
