  • The seventh millennium will be a time of peace and renewal, as it is written: ‘And on the seventh day, God rested and was refreshed’ (Exodus 31:17). So, too, the world will rest in the seventh millennium.
  • The world will last for 6,000 years: 2,000 years of desolation, 2,000 years of Torah, and 2,000 years of the days of the Messiah. In the seventh millennium, the world will be rebuilt in glory.
  • God created the world to last six thousand years. In the seventh millennium, all souls will stand before the Throne of Glory, and the righteous will receive their reward.
  • In the time of the Messiah, there will be no difference between this world and the next except for the burdens of exile. All other things will align with God’s appointed times.
  • The world to come will be entirely Sabbath, a day without end, reflecting the eternal nature of the seventh millennium.
