One World Government

This is what he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth which will be different from all the other kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth and trample it down and crush it.”

The Fourth Beast & the “Whole” Earth
There is a great deal of writing that has occurred over the recent decades about a One World Government and how the Fourth Beast in the vision of Daniel makes that clear. There is only a few problems with it, namely that it misses key points in translation and context and isn’t true the way it is covered in popular culture.
The “Whole” Earth
Lets break this down one point at a time and start with the “Whole Earth” phrase. This phrase doesn’t mean the entire globe, the phrase in Hebrew is כֹּל אֲרַע which is better translated as “All Region” or “All Land”.
How do we know this to be the case? The other uses of the word as in [Genesis 41:57] where כָּל־הָאָרֶץ is used in:
“
And all the region came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph.
-Genesis 41:57

The entire globe didn’t come to Egypt for grain, the region did. This is continued in [Genesis 12:1] where it says:
“
Go forth from your country (אֶרֶץ) and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land (אֶרֶץ) that I will show you.
-Genesis 12:1

The same word (אֶרֶץ) is used to denote country and land, not the entire world. This brings us to the other point of the Beasts of Daniel.
The same goes for the Greek use of the word (γῆ) gay which is often translated as the whole earth but is better translated as the territory, land, soil or region. The earth is not the footstool of God’s feet, Israel is [Matthew 8:35]. We will not inherit the Globe there will still be nations that have to come and worship the Messiah or get no rain, but we will inherit the Promised Land which is the point of [Matthew 5:5]:

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land

The Beasts of Daniel Only Focus on Nations that Rule Jerusalem
One theme the Bible has again and again is a laser focus on Jerusalem and the chosen land of God. Everything is from that locus. England is mentioned in the Bible, Tarshish (תַּרְשִׁישׁ) the island trading destination known for its ships and tin. That said Tarshish which lives to see the Gog Magog war and accuses it of being greedy along with possibly the USA and Australia (young lions):

Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder?’

The Four Beasts of Daniel are all nations that conquered Israel: the Winged Lion of Babylon, the Raised Arm Bear of Medo-Persia, the Four Headed Leopard of Alexander the Great’s Greece along with his four Generals after his death, the Fourth Diverse Beast is Rome which will be reborn most likely in a partnership between the words of the Western Roman Empire and the might of the Eastern Byzantine Roman Empire.
Could the Western Roman Empire include the USA and the concept of “The West”, maybe as with many things in Eschatology we are given only enough to recognize it when it happens but not build out an exact beat for beat timeline largely. That said if that was the case then why call out the young lions of Tarshish as a separate entity? What is more likely is this is continuing in the long tradition of the bible focusing on the regional land of the Promised Land and the players within it. The Anti-Christ will have partners, will have power and will exact dominion but it will most likely be over a region from Russia to Sudan and Türkiye to the Stans.
The rest of the globe will most likely look on in a form of containment while they bask in their own wealth and apostacy. Books like Left Behind and other eschatological commentaries whip up a concept of a One World Government that isn’t supported by the texts which show other nations in quiet resistance or commentary on the Fourth Beast’s reign.
The Fourth Beast will rule at a time of great upheaval but will most likely not personally have control over the entire globe as many people both fear and anticipate in some mesh of a technocratic global economic dictator. In those days there is a very good chance that the economic and manufacturing situation might be bleak after the collapse of the Harlot system within one hour. This would explain how things devolve to horses and basic weapons to some degree. Holding the entire globe in absolute power is quite the complex act, not saying it couldn’t happen but with the text written as it is most likely will not be the literal case but there will most likely be a philosophy that encourages a group think that would benefit the actions of the final Antichrist (yes there have been others) to take over once the restrainer has been removed.
