We Enter the Final Jubilee Period
Having to rewrite this days in advance of the start of the Final Jubilee period every time something changes, I expected it to pass without notice. Nothing dramatic yet, knowing almost everyone will not even know it has begun like a small highway exit sign that says "last exit for 50 miles". Many might not know they are in for a ride let alone know why. So far though these last few weeks, that has not been the case. Iran is just the start of the events to come.
With the war in Iran continuing and multiple nations using it as a proxy opportunity to push their new agenda in the wake of the death of the Global Order this start to the Final Jubilee of the Age of Messiah looks to be wasting no time. The obvious first question to all this is "What difference does being in the Final Jubilee make"? Its is a fair question and the answer is from this point forward a few things come into play.
Change #1 The Old Age Dies
The Age of Messiah, the last almost two thousand years of spreading the good news of the reign of Yeshua, building the embassies of the Kingdom of Heaven, the period of grace and distance from the King and Groom is ending with increasing speed. The organized Church will continue its long standing but increasingly rapid decline into apostacy, increasingly denying and turning its back on the way and path of Yahweh. Doing what is right in its own eyes, ignoring all metaphysical events, prophecy, & moedim appointed times in the Bible, focusing on the here and now and its growth and comfort [2 Thessalonians 2:3; Matthew 24:12].
This will also mark the continued increasement of Strongman style leaders as nations will increasingly lean of the God like power of military might. Ultimately leading to one leader who will worship military might like a God and demand worship of him/her in return [Daniel 11:38, The War Scroll (1QM), 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Revelation 13:4]. These will see the continuation of the persecution of the faith, in many regions that will intensify from some killing to mass killing, in others from the death threats that already exist to real pursuit of believers to put them to the sword. In still other places, like the United States and the West where persecution is touted constantly but is rarely physical they will begin to feel the real threat of physical persecution if you hold fast to "outdated version of Christianity" as all sides of the social/political debate pull farther apart and become more violent to each other (see the Sicarii in final jubilee of the last age).
All of the things that made the growth and height of the Age of Grace/Messiah will begin to die in many ways over the next fifty years that may finish well before those fifty years are done.
This is to make the way clear for the Age to come, to give birth to the Kingdom Age of Messiah. This will involve many birth pangs and will be a time of great uncertainty among nations that will increase in severity to tribulations not seen before or again and ultimately a reformation by fire and not water. This is a time of prophecy fulfillment.
Like the collapse of the Global Order occurring now, many other aspects that seemed established will unravel as nations move towards the Gog Magog Motif where humanity comes into direct conflict with God.
Change #2 The New Age is Born
From this day forward every element of the Age to come, the Kingdom Age will increase in intensity and size. Many events are packed into these last few years and our efforts and role could not be more important than ever.
Israel will consolidate its land
From this point forward Israel will consolidate the land it has and increase in power garnering considerable distain from the people and nations. It will most likely rebuild many of the governmental and in some cases physical elements of the 2nd Temple period not least of which could be a physical temple and reinstate sacrifices. Either way this will be a time where being a Jew outside of Israel will increasingly be problematic as Jews of all nations relocate for Israel, culminating with the Sephardic Jews of Spain & Portugal.
We are going to see the rise of the Ten Nations
This is the first major indicator that the time is short. Early Church fathers continually pushed for this to be a major marker. Irenaeus wrote:
"But, knowing the sure number declared by Scripture, that is, six hundred sixty and six, let them await, in the first place, the division of the kingdom into ten; then, in the next place, when these kings are reigning, and beginning to set their affairs in order, and advance their kingdom, [let them learn] to acknowledge that he who shall come claiming the kingdom for himself, and shall terrify those men of whom we have been speaking, having a name containing the aforesaid number, is truly the abomination of desolation."
-Against Heresies (Adversus Haereses), Book V, Chapter 30, Section 2
This nation could be any number of groupings since the Roman empire controlled both "The West" as we know it now and the Near East as it did even after the split of east and west. Some point to Europe, others point to Near Eastern nations, we have no idea but know that we are to watch for it and the "King" who takes the ten nations down to eight. That will most likely be the Antichrist whose name in Greek will add to 666.
The Restrainer will be removed
This we also do not know exactly how it will play out (this is going to be a constant theme) it could be the Church as many Pre-tribulationists predict or it could be the Archangel Michael, or something else entirely. All we know for sure is this restrainer will leave and enable the work of the Antichrist to swell in power and size so as to fulfill the goals of Belial Ha-Satan.
The Two Witnesses Preach
If the Church is not the Restrainer and doesn't leave until the middle of the Tribulation period (however long that is, seven years is a presumption not a hard and fast fact) the Church will see the full power and testimony of the two Witnesses and the 7 year (really 3.5 year) peace accord. They will speak to those that will listen about the time being short and the Calendar of God coming to an end of the Age. They will resist the actions an influence of the Antichrist and his partners on the Temple Mount. This will mark the time as not just less than fifty years but shorter, less than a decade and possibly just over seven years but possibly even shorter.
Change #3 The Kingdom Arises with a War
There will be multiple wars and skirmishes in the years to come but they will build and organize into two major ones.
The First War
As with every Final Jubilee of each Age humanity looks to destroy the land of Yahweh. To trample his footstool and destroy his temple. This time will be no different, regardless if the temple a physical building or the bodies of his citizens. The first war, the Gog & Magog war will rally many nations together to take on Israel and they will get deep but will fall into chaos and confusion.
The Second War
The war that follows will be the Antichrist's war, the war that sees his forces both cull believers inside of Israel and possibly outside (the meaning of eretz ארץ is complicated). This is debated many think it is merged with the Gog Magog war but we see it as two distinct wars. The first creates a power vacuum in the region. The second is the Antichrist leveraging all his carefully built up power to erase once and for all the people of God from the land with infiltration and deception. An act he will get close to doing having destroyed 2/3rds of Jerusalem in the process.
The Response of The Messiah
The final battle will not be a battle so much as a routing. Yeshua will land on the Mount of Olives at the moment almost all have lost hope. It will split into two and he will proceed into the Temple Mount to claim the Earth. He will then proceed to eliminate every single enemy presence from the city and region with a level of carnage unseen in modern records.
This will culminate with the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven and every nation on the globe sending representatives to Jerusalem to ask for favor year after year for a millennia.
Change #4 The Predictions Increase
The irony of this is not lost on us, but as we enter into the final jubilee of this age the public will latch onto this and other details and begin to predict dates with increasing insistence as actual prophecies come to fruition and it will seem to many that it will be any moment or like the Church of Thessaloniki feared, it may have already passed. They will claim that they are talking to Messiah, that he is already here, but has not revealed himself on the world stage. This will be an period of increasing paranoia and insistence which will drive Churches even farther away from prophecy, ancient truths and into the arms of self-help, prosperity, nationalism, and culture war social clubs.
Fear not, do not spend time stressing over dates, "we" only mention them to make clear what we are saying in the context of the Jubilee and what we are not saying, that and to leave the dates out would be a plainly obvious dodge. The 2nd coming could be anytime in that range, and we could even be wrong even though we very much do not think that is the case for many reasons we will continually revisit.
Change #5 The Great Delusion
Somewhere in all of this most likely before the second war and after the restrainer has left but anytime after today there will come a Great Delusion. A lie so impressive and large in scope that most everyone will fall for it and it will distract many from the true source of the events that are taking place hardening their ability to repent and be turned by the Tribulation which is the entire point of its existence.
What will this delusion be? Endless guesses can be made but they all essentially orbit around that it will cause awe and collective certainty that turning away from Yahweh is the right decision and move to make. Something that will bring everything into question so much that faith is no longer a mocked choice but a dangerous one to have [2 Thessalonians 2:9-12]. We are of the position it will be the power and message of the mortally wounded but alive Anti-Christ and his Prophet but it may be something else.
This is going to increasingly be a time of conflict, distress and argument as all sides hide their fear with anger and aggressive overconfidence. The point isn't to run from it, fight over it, or argue with it. It is to realize what it is, that is isn't forever and that as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven and children of the House of God you are called to look after each other, help others, and be ready to defend your actions and choices before the King of the Age to come.
